Frequently Asked Questions

  • Who do you help?

I help families with babies and young children who are struggling with sleep. This includes night wakings, difficulty falling asleep, short naps, bedtime battles, and sleep regressions. My goal is to help both children and parents get the restorative sleep they need.

  • What is your approach to sleep consulting?

I take a supportive, family-centered approach. I work with you to create customized sleep solutions that fit your child’s age, temperament, and your family’s routines. I focus on helping children learn healthy sleep habits while keeping the process gentle, practical, and sustainable for the whole family.

  • What services do you offer?

I offer a variety of services including:

    • Bedtime Reset Calls – A quick, 15-minute call to tackle immediate bedtime challenges.
    • Sleep Plans & Consultations – Personalized plans for babies and young children, including step-by-step guidance for sleep training.
    • Follow-Up Support – Ongoing guidance to help families stay on track and adjust as needed.
  • Do you only help with nighttime sleep?

Not at all! While bedtime and night wakings are common concerns, I also help with nap schedules, early rising, bedtime stalling, transitions (crib to toddler bed), and sleep regressions. Sleep is a full-picture issue, and I address all areas affecting your child’s rest.

  • What if my child cries during sleep training?

Crying can be part of learning to self-soothe, and it doesn’t mean your child is unsafe or unloved. I teach families strategies to respond appropriately, support your child, and gradually help them fall asleep independently. My goal is to minimize stress for both children and parents while promoting healthy sleep habits.

  • My child is older—can they still benefit from sleep training?

Absolutely! Sleep training is effective for toddlers and even preschool-aged children. While younger children may adjust more quickly, it’s never “too late” to help your child develop independent sleep skills.

  • When is a good age to start sleep training?

Most babies are ready for sleep training between 4–6 months old, once they are developmentally ready to self-soothe. However, children of all ages can benefit from guidance to improve sleep. I tailor my approach based on your child’s age, temperament, and your family’s needs.

  • How soon can I expect results?

Every child is different, but many families see improvements within the first few nights when following a consistent plan. My goal is to create lasting sleep habits, not just quick fixes.

  • Do you offer support for parents who just want to try small changes first?

Absolutely. You don’t have to commit to a full sleep plan right away. I provide practical tips and small steps you can implement gradually, helping your family get better sleep at your own pace.

  • How do I get started?

You can book a free 15-minute Bedtime Reset Call to discuss your child’s sleep challenges and see how I can help. From there, we can determine the best path forward for your family.
